Overview

ElyCharge is an EV-charging companion app concept for finding nearby charging stations, starting a session, and tracking charge status — a map-first mobile experience built in a teal-accented interface that reinforces the product's sustainability positioning.

Problem

EV drivers often have to jump between a map app, a separate charging-network app, and a payment step just to start a session — by the time they've confirmed a station is actually free and working, the convenience of driving electric is gone.

Solution

A map-first flow gets a driver from "find a station" to "start charging" in a short, focused path, with live session status broken out into its own dedicated screen rather than a small in-app notification.

Design decisions

• A teal / green palette used to reinforce the sustainability and clean-energy positioning
• Map-first navigation, since finding a nearby, available station is the driver's first and most time-sensitive need
• Session status treated as its own dedicated screen so users can check charging progress at a glance

Outcome

A focused mobile flow covering the core find-and-charge loop, ready to extend with account, payment, and history screens.
